Radar signal-processing for improved thermal imaging,
3D environment reconstruction with sensor fusion
To support firefighters with a clear view also in case of thick smoke, a thermal imaging camera is enhanced with a radar sensor. The focus of my work lies on the radar signal-processing and the fusion of the data from the thermal image and the radar.
Rekonstruction of cable networks from scattering parameters
We aim to reconstruct the structure of the whole network, though we can access only few cable ends. The focus lies on the algorithms for the reconstruction. Graph-based and (in the sense of signal-processing) parametric methods are investigated .
